Group Science TuitionIn addition to our individual tuition, we offer some group courses. There are currently three types of group courses taking place. Intense training sessions for GCSE and A-levels, masterclasses, and creative maths for kids. Intense Training Group Sessions (2-4 students) This can be beneficial for a student who understands the subject matter mostly, but would like an extra boost. These are not only helpful right before an exam. Group sessions are 2 hours and cost £20-£30 depending on the number of pupils attending. Please contact us if you would like more information. Masterclasses (2-6 students) These are for students who have a special interest in a certain science subject, and are thinking of pursueing it in further education. Subjects covered in these classes are beyond the A-level curriculum. We are currently offering the following masterclasses: Graph Theory, Probability and Quantum Mechanics. Masterclasses are usually 2 hours and cost £20-£30 depending on the numbers. Please contact us to find out when the next class will be taking place. Creative Maths for Kids These sessions take children (aged 8-12) right to the heart of mathematics. They are not about doing repetitive sums or learning basic techniques, but rather meant to show them the beauty of mathematics. They are full of puzzles to challenge their minds and help them discover fun and inspiring sides of mathematics. We are currently running biweekly sessions of 1 3/4 hours which cost £12. They are taught by Puck. Please get in touch if your child might want to join. A taster session is free.
